Wat vindt u van de concept regelgeving?
It is a serious mistake to ban flavours if you sincerely wish to curtail smoking.

I will tell you my story with switching to vaping. I was a smoker and libertarian blogger for many years, completely opposed to government intrusion into the choices of people who wish to smoke. I started smoking in 1982 and have never made a single attempt to quit smoking. When authorities in the UK were rumoured to be thinking of banning e-cigarettes, I wanted to learn about them purely to find out what they were about so I could defend vapers. My first e-cigarette was in 2010 but it wasn't until 2015 when I finally switched entirely away from lit tobacco. The reason it happened was entirely accidental. I had found vaping interesting but not enough to replace my love of tobacco. But in 2015, battery strengths had improved, open systems were widespread and I bought a flavour called "Pear Drops" online which gave me a wonderful experience that exceeded any pleasure I had got from smoking previously. It reminded me of the candy flavours I had enjoyed in the 1980s.

I never looked back and have not smoked since. If only tobacco flavour was available, I would still be smoking 30 cigarettes a day even now. Flavours are the silent stalker which pursues curious smokers and pulls them away from smoking almost without them noticing. If you ban flavours you are protecting the cigarette trade, it's that simple. The proposal to ban flavours can only have adverse consequences.
