I am strongly against this proposed amendment. The availability of these research chemicals is absolutely necessary, as it informs the scientific community on potential therapeutic agents and promotes research into drug development. If we are to allow places like Amsterdam to exist, where many substances known to have negative health effects are legally possessed and consumed, there is no reason we should pass an amendment like this.
