Graag vernemen wij uw reactie op het conceptwetsvoorstel tot wijziging van de Opiumwet.
Dear Lawmakers and Readers,

I am deeply concerned that this law will be used to make it illegal to sell/buy/posses (some) natural products. The law doesn't define substances and therefore this law could be used to forbid natural products, although it wasn't meant for that.
If you want to make whole groups of substances illegal please put in at least a sentence similar to "Natural products and their extracts and isolates are excluded from this law" into the law.
Please define "new" in your law. In the EU many natural products are considered "new", although they exist for thousands of years. This law could be abused to make herbs or extracts of herbs illegal although it is helping the people, even if they have no psychoactive ingredients.

I know people who are afraid that this law could be used to forbid for example kratom. These people got back their life through kratom, they are very afraid that their life gets destroyed again. If your incentive with this law is to protect your citizens and not to protect big pharma you "have to" put in a sentence excluding natural products.

My dutch is bad, sorry for writing in English...

Thank you very much.
