Nicotine pouches provide smokers with a low-risk alternative to nicotine consumption. Unfortunately, the proposed limit for nicotine content of the pouches is unacceptably low, making these products useless. Therefore, the proposed bill would result in a de facto ban on nicotine pouches in NL.

As a Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Graz, I am financially and ideally independent of the industry and other interest groups.
