I am against the proposal to extend naturalization periods. Integration is not only about time but also about opportunities. Immigrants who work hard to learn the language, respect the laws, and contribute socially and economically should not be forced to wait even longer for citizenship. Longer waiting times create unnecessary barriers and may even discourage people from fully engaging in society. Instead of making the process longer, the government should focus on providing better support, language courses, and guidance so that newcomers can integrate faster and more successfully.
