I do not believe extending the time period has anything to do with the naturalization. There are many people living here more than 10 years, yet, they are not naturalized. It means, increasing the time period doesn’t work. Also, if it is increased, many people who are willing to neutralize, comply with the rules, trying to integrate themselves will be disappointed and their motivation will be gone. There might be other solutions but this is definitely not a solution. I would like this draft to be reconsidered.
