I strongly disagree with this law. As highly skilled migrants, we were invited by Dutch companies with clear program details. Based on this, we made the significant decision to leave our previous lives behind and move here, trusting in the opportunities that were presented to us for building a better future.

I remain grateful to the Dutch government and people for providing us with this opportunity, but it feels unfair to change the rules midway for those who have already committed their lives here. At the very least, an exception should be made for individuals who are already living and working in the Netherlands under the existing framework.
