It is not a good step considering the HSM. Firstly it will cause less Highly skilled works to migrate to the Netherlands. It is already very expensive to live here which is why a lot of people are already leaving and changing the terms to 10 years will boost the leaving process from the country. It should not impact either the ones living here or the ones coming in future. The economy will see a downfall and a lot of people will leave Netherlands immediately including myself. It is a bad move for the government which will cause companies to stop working in the Netherlands due to lesser work force and international talent not willing to relocate. Hence marking Netherlands last place to interest.
