hi,
I am writing to express my concerns about the plan to increase the time needed to get Dutch citizenship from 5 to 10 years. I think this change is unfair and cause problems.
Waiting 10 years creates more stress and insecurity and lack of sense of belonging to the society.
Also, other countries in Europe are making easier to become citizens. So, if the Netherlands make the situation harder, miss out some talented people.
Moreover, I think 5 years is enough to evaluate a person that is a good citizen for a society or not. So, what is the result of such extension?
In my idea, if the Netherlands need talented and good citizens, it is better to provide a situation for people to show their capabilities without stress and long unsafe period.

Hope to Government will reconsider negative points of longer time of citizenship.
