Hi,
I believe extending the naturalization period from 5 to 10 years in the Netherlands would have a negative impact. Many talented refugees are finding a home and starting a new life in the Netherlands, and they, like myself, are all encouraged about the 5-year naturalization period. This encourages us to fulfill our integration process and become naturalized Dutch citizens to further contribute to the society, and give back to the wonderful people of Netherlands who have opened their arms to us. Extending the period to 10 years would be disappointing and discouraging.
