I believe this new law needs to be implemented for the people who is going to visit Netherlands in the future or for the ones who recently moved to the Netherlands in 2024 and 2025 years. The people who are living in the Netherlands from 2021 and 2022 must be exempted as they are already close to the 5 year mark and might have build a connection with the Netherlands and got plans to settle here. This 10 year law can break the emotions for the people close to 5 year mark . I hope the government consider this point before passing this law.
