This law is very discouraging for experts in emerging technologies to consider Netherlands for investment in their future. 10 years of instability in one’s life is traumatising, and people with options wouldn’t risk it. This is the kinda law that breaks a working system to weed out a few bad apples.

We should look at this issue like a venture capitalist. Of every 10 people that Netherlands invest in, only one needs to be a unicorn, some would be average, and the rest would be failures. Nevertheless, that one unicorn compensates for all.
