- Heeft u algemene op- of aanmerkingen bij het voorgestelde Besluit?- Heeft u diersoortspecifieke op- of aanmerkingen bij het voorgestelde Besluit (kippen, melkvee, kalveren of varkens)?
Pigs are highly intelligent animals and should have the right to roam and as for Forrowing Cages, these are on a par with instruments of torture with immeasurable cruelty, both physical and emotional, to the Mother Pigs. Anyone who condones these conditions can hardly be described as a Humane Individual. Phase these Cages out NOW!
Cramped stables in stifling conditions are another unacceptable concept for these gregarious animals, who have to interact with each other and MUST be allowed outside to experience fresh air and proposed 'expansion' of 0.1 m² per pig is completely insufficient.
