I dont think this is fair, especially that things are changing in the world by the minute, no one knows what could happen in 10 years, now if I wanted to stay till I get the passport and stay because I like it and I can get a eu passport, now I dont, since its too risky to stay for 10 years and by the end of that it gets extended again or rules change, becoming dutch by getting the passport is not the idea, I think there are better ways to insure this, extending the passport is not one of them for sure, especially if you want more expats to come/stay in netherlands
