I'm against the new bill. As a highly skilled migrant and software engineer, extending the naturalization period to 10 years significantly affects my decision to continue living in the Netherlands. This country is for sure a great place to live, but the fact that my skills were needed is why I was granted a visa and supported in my migration process. Such a change won't frustrate me at all, but it may strongly influence the choices I make about my future here.
