For people that has HSM visa if they lose their job they have 3 months to have a new one or they have to leave the country, if people want to stay long time in the Netherlands then having to deal with this for 10 years is too much, to have long stay skilled workers you need to stablish safe working conditions, and one of those is to be free to change your job freely and not to be scared about being fired. So having a short period of naturalization is important in this case, 10 years is too much
